Last night, we hosted our first Santa Clarita Baby Network Seminar. It was a huge success. We had a great group of new/expecting families in attendance. Drs. Horowitz discussed two main topics: “Swine Flu & Babies” and “Sick Season: When To Call The Doctor”. They also had a questions and answers session where the forum was opened up to parents to ask anything! Some of the topics discussed were breastfeeding, starting solids, sleep training, and much more.
The evening started off with a meet-and-greet where expectant/new families had a chance to meet some of the SCV’s best “baby” businesses. This forum provided an intimate opportunity for families to get to know the business owners and ask specific questions about their specific businesses.
The night ended with everyone’s favorite activity- a raffle. Over $1,000 worth of prizes were given out to the families. Everyone had a great time! Please check out the Family Beat section of The Signal newspaper- our event was covered! More details to follow!
